DeBlaca AI

Practical AI for Irish SMEs

We help manufacturing, engineering, and operations businesses adopt AI without burning budget. We start with your processes, not a product, and most of the work is grant fundable.

Foundation first. Training second. Tools last.

Operations first, technology second

Most Irish SMEs do not have an AI problem. They have a process problem. AI does not fix a broken process. It makes it faster.

So we work in an order that holds up: understand where you are, build the skills, then put the tools in. Reverse it and you get expensive chaos. Our services map to that order.

1

Foundation

The appraisal: where AI actually pays, and what to do first.

2

Training

The workshop: your team builds a working tool, not a slide deck.

3

Tools

Automation: we build, test, and hand over the workflows that save the hours.

And running alongside all of it, AI-Discoverable makes sure the AI tools your buyers now use can actually find you.

How the funding works

Much of this work can be grant funded. The right route depends on your size and which agency you work with: Enterprise Ireland for strategy and digital process projects, your Local Enterprise Office for smaller businesses, and Skillnet for training. We confirm what you qualify for before you commit a cent, and we sequence the work so you never start before approval.

We charge a fixed fee for our work. Never a percentage of the grant you win. Your funding is yours.

Grant values and eligibility are set by the funding bodies and change from time to time. We confirm current terms for your business before any application.

Why DeBlaca

Twenty years in operations at Intel before I wrote a line of automation. An engineering degree and Lean Six Sigma behind it. When you talk to me about cycle time, yield, or a CAPA process, I do not need it explained.

I use the tools I recommend, every day. If I would not put it into my own work, I will not put it into yours. And I will tell you when you are not ready. Assessment before prescription. Every time.

Questions

Where should we start?

Most businesses start with the AI Readiness Appraisal. It tells you where AI actually pays, what to do first, and the grant route to fund it, before you commit to any build or tool.

Can this be grant funded?

Often, yes. Enterprise Ireland clients route through schemes like Strategic Consultancy and Digital Process Innovation, smaller businesses through their Local Enterprise Office, and training through Skillnet. We confirm your route before you commit.

Who do you work with?

Irish SMEs with 10 to 200 employees, typically in manufacturing, engineering, food and beverage, and professional services.

Do we have to buy everything?

No. Each service stands alone. Many clients start with one appraisal and decide from there. Assessment before prescription.
